i have seen the documentary, yea at a screening, but if you're offering a DVD copy, yea, would certainly love it so long as you wouldn't like to keep it yourself. wouldn't want to take it from you :). overall, magnificent film.. filmmaking style rather boring actually, but a beautiful and inspiring story in the extreme. there's this self-portrait of Wagstaff in that Black+White+Gray, in like a leather speedo or something that looks almost silly, but it really hit home with me as it seemed to capture so perfectly and concisely the greater freedom Wagstaff obviously felt exploring his own sexuality from being w Mapplethorpe. i mean duh, he was with Robert Mapplethorpe, but still. and Sam's gaze into the camera is just like Robert's, that unambiguous wanting to know, readiness to know. i can never look away from him.
